Hello, I'm Layal Hanna,
Speech Pathologist
I’m a dedicated Melbourne-based clinician with nearly 10 years of experience, specialising in swallowing disorders (dysphagia).

My clinic is one of the few that videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS). This important test gives detailed information about how a person swallows. It plays a key role in creating effective, personalised treatment plans for dysphagia.

My approach is patient-centred. I work closely with individuals and healthcare teams to create treatment plans that not only address the medical side of dysphagia but also support the emotional well-being of my patients. My aim is to improve quality of life and help people achieve the best possible outcomes.

In addition to running my clinic, I also provide rehabilitation to patients across Alfred Health.
