1
Contact is to make a referral
We accept referrals from participants, families, support coordinators, SIL providers, and allied health professionals. Relevant NDIS and background information is gathered to understand the participant’s supports, goals, and living environment.
2
Swallowing & mealtime assessment
A comprehensive speech pathology assessment is completed.
Assessments are completed in the participant’s own environment (e.g. home or SIL) to ensure recommendations are practical and realistic.
3
Individualised Mealtime Management Plan
Based on assessment findings, an individualised Mealtime Management Plan is developed. Recommendations are tailored to the participant’s specific supports and environment.
Education is also provided to the participant's supports (carers and family) to make sure the mealtime management plan is realistic for that person and can be implemented consistently throughout the day,

Review regularly
Mealtime needs may change over time. Reviews and updates to Mealtime Management Plans can be completed as part of ongoing NDIS‑funded supports when there is a change in health, skills, or living arrangements.
